May 2010 — "I have nothing but great things to say about Erik Hornung, his photography skills and his business ethics. Our experience hiring Erik to capture the moments of our engagement and of our wedding day have been great from the first interaction that we have had with him straight to the delivery of our photos. My husband and I knew that photography would be one of the biggest expenses for our wedding and had budgeted to accommodate that. Erik offered us competitive prices that we were so thrilled with, we felt no need to negotiate or look elsewhere. His professionalism on our most important day completely impressed us. There are so many moments that we wouldn't had even known had happened if Erik hadn't been there to capture those snapshots in time. My husband and I wouldn't think twice about recommending his services or hiring him for other milestones in our life. I have every intention of continuing to use his services.
Thanks Erik!! You far exceeded our expectations...and trust me, they were high expectations. Thank you for giving us artwork that we will cherish forever."

"Where awesome meets amazing"

March 2010 — "To put it bluntly, I do not like having my photo taken. With Erik, I LOVE having my photo taken. He makes me feel comfortable and at ease and knows exactly how to capture me so I look my absolute best. When Erik takes my photo, I feel beautiful and gorgeous and special. I don't worry about *anything* because I trust him 100%.
As a person, Erik is hilarious, relaxed and cool as a cucumber. He is an instant friend and helper-outter and will keep you laughing and smiling even though you are a nervous wreck. He's not pushy or overbearing. He's a spectacular guy who has an amazing talent and a killer sense of humour.
As a photographer, Erik is simply amazing. His style is classic, fun and even a bit flirty. He captures each couple's unique personality in every shot, whether it be engagements, wedding formals or even family portraits, and I've never once thought my photos will look like someone else's. He is extremely accommodating (says the bride who had three families on her side and two families on her husbands!) and always patient. He will never rush you or pressure you. He will always show how stunning you are and after seeing yourself in one of his photos, you will never want anyone else to take your photo again!"

August 2007 — "If you are looking for a photographer in the Edmonton area, Erik is truly a gem. He has the amazing ability to capture the smallest detail in a moment or photograph and make it flawless. Very artistic style and his photo's speak for themselves.
I had the pleasure of meeting Erik at a friend's wedding that I coordinated so when I it came to planning my own celebration, the decision was already made and it felt great! As a bride, it is so overwhelming to choose the best photographer to capture your wedding day. You want him/her to be there for the unexpected moments, to see the tiny details that you will miss, to hide any flaws that you don't want to be seen!! For these reasons and so many more, I would use Erik's talents no matter where I lived in Canada. And the best part - he is so incredibly affordable!!
