August 2011 — "Devin was our wedding photographer and I could not have been happier with him! It was a little unnerving to hire him without meeting in person as we travelled from Toronto to get married in B.C but Devin put me at ease through our various phone call's and emails. Upon meeting Devin we liked him immensely, he took the time to show us sites for our approval and talk to us to get a sense of us personally rather than treat us as a cookie-cutter couple. The day of our wedding he was great about grabbing the shots we had requested but also finding those special moments to capture. Devin was fun to work with and kept our bridal party focused during all of our shots, he was great with re-directing the group when needed which helped to keep the peace during a hectic day.
Upon seeing our preview I both excited and overcome with emotion, they were everything I had wanted and more, pictures were the most important thing to me of the entire wedding as that is the one tangible thing you have to remember your day forever. I have photos that I will be proud to display in my home and to one day show to my grandchildren, I cannot wait to both share and cherish them.
I definitely recommend Devin for anyone's special occasions"

August 2011 — "Devin is absolutely great to work with, he's very personable and his laid back style allows him to guide every photo session without seeming overbearing or introducing stress. At no point during the afternoon did we ever feel under pressure and even though we used five different locations we had tons of fun and never felt rushed. He has an absolutely great eye for picking out the perfect shot in any setting and his attention to background, colors and lighting has made for some stunning photos, both color and black and white, that will always bring back great memories for us. Everyone who has seen them is impressed and it goes without saying we are extremely happy with the results and would recommend Devin without reservation to anyone looking for a wedding photographer."

June 2011 — "I so much enjoyed working with Devin prior to and on my wedding day. He is super talented and such a great person. His shots of my husband and I came out so well and look so natural because Devin really knows what he is doing and doesn't dominate the scene. He is attentive and on the lookout for great settings and poses so that everything flows smoothly and is without stress. The pictures reflect this--he captures the joy of the occasion and the naturally happy faces of everyone involved. I highly recommend Devin for your wedding!! "

April 2011 — "Devin has a unique style and different approach to traditional wedding photos. Typically, we shy away from the camera, but Devin managed to keep us focussed and relaxed, capturing a story in many shots. We especially loved his use of colour and black & white in some of the photos to create, not just memories, but truly unique and amazing works of art. We love our photos! And highly recommend him!"

August 2009 — "Devin was AWESOME. We arranged our day from the UK and spoke to Devin briefly over the phone twice and a few more times via email. We never ever once questioned our decision. Devin is a genuinely trustworthy and helpful kind of guy. He drove out to meet us a couple of days after we arrived on Vancouver Island and arrived when he said he would (which is something of a novelty for us living in London, when on time means at least half and hour late!). Come the wedding day he arrived fully prepared with more than a few alternatives for the day and he instantly became 'part of the day', but not in a bad way. Put it this way... at the end of the day we were sad to see him go. If you want a wedding photographer and Devin is available, do not hesitate, you won't regret it. "

April 4 — "We had our wedding in April 2008. For us Devin was the perfect photographer. Both my husband and I are laid back and fun and we wanted our wedding day and our photos to reflect that. Since having someone taking your photo is a personal experience we wanted someone who not only was professional, but we felt comfortable with so that the pictures and our whole day felt natural instead of the forced "say cheese" smile. We did do some engagement photos with him the week before the wedding so we could get used to having our picture taken, which was nice not only to get more comfortable with him but now we have some great photos of us in regular clothing as well.
The day of the wedding he was punctual, and we had so much fun. We took photos in the morning for a couple hours before the actual wedding and it was so relaxed and fun with our wedding party. So by the time we got to the actual wedding it had already been such a wonderful memorable day. We even went to three different locations and it didn't feel rushed at all. I think the nicest part was that he wasn't intrusive and managed to get amazing shots without feeling like he was in our space. Most of the shots that I love the best are ones he took when we weren't posing, but they were spontaneous shots."
