Annual Summer Media Arts Camp for Teens
TBA
The Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers is proud to present the 17th annual Summer Media Arts Camp. This unique opportunity allows teenagers aged 14 to 17 to write, direct, shoot, and edit a film under the guidance of professional filmmakers.
The small class size allows each participant to get experience working in all aspects of the film production process. The camp will culminate with a public screening of the final film and each participant will receive a DVD of the production for their portfolio. Many past participants have gone on to careers in film and video so this is a great opportunity to explore filmmaking as a career option.
